most of these are css rigs made to test new ideas and such, all of them are different, try them yourself to see, if you even care
if you are using my rigs, you need to do an "unhide all" before exporting in max 9
i hid most of the bones in the arms when i created them because you do not need them for anything, however jeds exporter interprets that as "do not export"
another thing you can try is converting all the splines to editable mesh. it will flash up a bunch of errors when you export the ref but those are ok unless you actually want the splines to show ingame
it kinda makes me angry that jed took all the options he considered "unorthodox" off of the table for max 9 users
folks, please stop telling people that the rigs do not work in max 9, because i know for a fact that is not true, it just takes a little bit of "tricking" the exporter since the rigs were made before max 9 was in the mainstream.
